"If it's so complex, why engage cross-culturally at all?"

Because the blessings far outweigh the difficulties. Not to mention something Jesus said about taking the gospel message "into all the world" and "to all creation". Can't do that if we all stay home!

Cross-cultural ministry:

·         Broadens vision and expands horizons;

·         Deepens our lives and ministries through relationships that enrich;

·         Reaches to the poor in obedience to the will of God; blessing follows obedience;

·         Fulfills the great commission to go;

·         Creates an awareness of other cultures and the breadth of the Kingdom of God;

·         As we seek to bless others we are in turn blessed by them;

·         Requires faith / builds faith—essential ingredient for pleasing God;

·         Adjusts our values and perspectives;

·         Allows God to perfect His strength in our weakness;

·         Adds an adventure component to our lives; healthy for the soul.

·      Drives us to Prayer
